Improv theater is unscripted collaborative storytelling. This highly interactive class utilizes improv activities in a therapeutic, fun, and meaningful way to create connection through laughter and storytelling. No theater experience is necessary. It is well documented that laughter is good medicine with numerous mental, emotional and physical benefits and that social connection and engagement increases longevity. Improv has many researched benefits; improved listening, empathy, adaptability and flexibility, increased trust, support, spontaneity, It enhances communication skills by activating language and creativity centers in the brain and promotes memory skills. Improv helps decrease stress, anxiety and uncertainty intolerance and it increases confidence and problem solving. And,... it's fun!. We hope you join us.
